Basic Function

Provides leadership in grant making and other community health improvement strategies for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Affiliates. Creates impact through dissemination of knowledge, skills, and tools.

Position Qualifications

Masters level degree in public health, health education, public administration or equivalent, plus 5-7 years of experience in health philanthropy, grant management, or program development and evaluation. Requires a solid understanding of community-based health care and grant making. Excellent written, verbal and polished presentation skills a must. Must possess a proven ability to think strategically, and must have a demonstrated record of success working with a diverse constituency of partners and grantees to achieve specific programmatic outcomes.

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of public health program design, development, implementation and evaluation. Strong organizational and project management skills.
