African American National Advisory Council

Targets African American women by integrating educational programs and materials in their communities.

Focuses on educating Hispanic and Latina women by developing effective approaches and practices that will address their unique needs. Learn more

Asian American & Pacific Islander National Advisory Council

Works with Komen in its efforts to raise awareness among Asian American/Pacific Islander women about screening mammography, monthly breast self-examination, clinical breast examinations and treatment options for women with breast cancer. Learn more

American Indian & Alaska Native National Advisory Council

Assists Komen in addressing disparities in breast cancer incidence, morbidity and mortality in Native American women and helps to improve their access to breast health information and quality breast health care services. Learn more

Young Women's National Advisory Council

Focuses on breast health and breast cancer issues specific to young women and raises awareness and promotes engagement in the breast cancer cause among a powerful generation of advocates. Learn more.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender National Advisory Council

This advisory council focuses on breast health and breast cancer issues within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Council members will offer guidance to Komen staff and Komen Affiliates on how to reach and engage members of their respective communities. Learn more.
