Public Policy
Komen believes that scientific progress must be complemented by sound public policy. Throughout our 25 year history of political action and advocacy we have worked to influence policy-makers at the federal, state and local levels to increase public investment in breast health and breast cancer research, early detection programs and access to quality care for all. As part of our advocacy efforts, we have established Komen Champions for the Cure™, a structured grassroots program designed to educate Congress, the President and other policy-makers about breast cancer through community involvement.

The generosity of our donors is vital as we continue our efforts to help breast cancer patients today, as well as to invest in the health of future generations. Donate online to make a general donation, an honorarium to celebrate a loved one's survivorship or a special occasion or a memorial donation in memory of a loved one or friend. You can also donate by phone or by mail, through planned gifts, workplace contributions or gifts of stock.
