2008 marks the fourteenth year that that Susan G. Komen for the Cure has partnered with Ford Division.  Over the years, Ford Division, including its dealers, employees and other Ford groups, has contributed millions of dollars in support of Komen for the Cure through a variety of programs and it’s Komen Race for the Cure® National Series Sponsorship.

The Warriors in Pink initiative was created to continue the support of the Komen Race for the Cure® Series. The collection of Warriors in Pink apparel for women and men feature bold symbols that embody the Warrior credo of taking charge, living out loud, harnessing power and standing together. 100 percent of the net proceeds* from the sale of each item supports Komen for the Cure. For more information about donation amounts per product please visit www.fordcares.com

To further support Komen for the Cure, Ford offers the limited edition 2009 Mustang with Warriors in Pink package.  Available on V-6 Premium Coupe and Convertible models and on three body colors, the Mustang with Warriors in Pink package includes a unique grill with a pink ribbon and pony fender badge, pink Mustang rocker tape striping, charcoal leather seats, an aluminum-spoke steering wheel and charcoal floor mats, all with pink contrast stitching; $500 from the sale of each package goes directly to Komen.

*Net proceeds are calculated as the retail price less the production and distribution cost. For more information on the donation go to fordcares.com
